Directions: Massage a small amount of muscle balm into the skin over aching or well-exercised muscles, tendons, or joints.
CONTAINS: Organic sunflower oil, beeswax, organic dried herbs (arnica, comfrey, marjoram, & St. John's Wort), organic essential oils (clove, eucalyptus, peppermint, basil, camphor wood, marjoram, myrrh, wintergreen, black pepper, ginger, & vetiver)
ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS:
Sunflower Oil: Native Americans cultivated the sunflower about 3,000 BC, drawing from plants indigenous to North America. Rich in oleic acids, fatty acids, lecithin, and vitamins A, D, and E, sunflower oil is deeply nourishing and conditioning for the skin, and is an excellent oil for herbal infusions.
Beeswax: A natural hydrating ingredient that increases essential moisture in skin, beeswax is used in this recipe to create a smooth, non-runny consistency.
Herbs and Essential Oils: Arnica, comfrey, basil, cedarwood, marjoram, vetiver, and St. John's wort each have a long history of use in herbal medicine for muscle healing and support . Clove, eucalyptus, and peppermint provide warming/cooling sensation on the skin, as well as their own healing properties.
